MIODNE

Miodne is a dark beer with natural, local honey. It is a unique composition. The rich coffee-chocolate taste of the beer with a delicate hop finish was complemented by the velvety, delicacy and unobtrusive sweetness of multi-floral honey. We are also proud to mention that we only use the best local honey, directly from beekeepers whose family beekeeping traditions date back to the beginning of the 20th century.

The beer quickly gained a group of ardent admirers – especially among the fair sex – and popular opinions prove that it is probably the best dark honey beer in Poland.

Pour this brown-ruby liquor into a mug and you will be enchanted by the aromas of natural honey emerging from under the beige cap of foam, harmoniously combined with roasted malts. This is just a preview of what awaits you under the foam…

KORMORAN JASNY

The feature that determines the uniqueness of this beer is its hop character. When composing its taste, we focused on classic European, continental hop varieties. We used five of them. Three of them are Polish varieties: the bitter Marynka, the bitter-aromatic Sybilla and the extremely aromatic Lubelski. The sensations that we can experience thanks to the best Polish hops have been enriched by adding the most famous varieties of our neighbors: Żatecki from the Czech Republic and German Tettnanger. All this adds up to the unique aroma and taste of beer, delicately supplemented with a subtle biscuit aftertaste.

ŚLIWKA W PIWIE

If the fruit used for the production of this beer were to be contained in a bottle, each of them would contain at least 9 plums of the following varieties: Węgierka Łowicka, Węgierka and Mirabelka.

As in other beers with fruit, the secret of Plums in Beer is natural juice from properly selected, traditional plum varieties and the aging time of beer with fruit. Both of these factors contribute to the surprisingly rich taste and excellent composition.

Open the bottle and feel the whole bouquet of natural, fresh fruit immersed in beer. Fill the glass and look at the world through the intense tea color … and then try it! You will feel the refreshing, delicate acidity among the sweetness of ripe plums. Everything embedded in a malt beer base with a delicate hint of hop bitterness in the background.

Type of beer: Plum flavored beer

Alcohol content: 4.4% vol.

Extract: 14.5 wt.%

ŚWIEŻE PASTERYZOWANE

The inhabitants of our region, emigrating to the Ruhr area, created Dortmund beers. They took their taste from their homeland. The Fresh Beer is just such a beer – slightly sweet and light. After the brewing and fermentation process, the beer is lagered for a long time (aged in a tank at a temperature close to 0°C). All this adds up to a delicate taste, malt and hop bouquet, high clarity and adequate carbonation. In order to obtain a beer with a repeatable taste, beers from different deckchairs are mixed during filtration – the brewer tries and selects the proportions so that it is always as perfect. Fresh because of its high drinkability, it is the perfect culmination of a day after hard work.

The decision to pasteurize “Święży” is not only the result of responsibility for all links of our “beer story”, but also the result of many meetings, research and experience. Thanks to pasteurization, “Fresh” will have a shelf life of 6 months, and at the same time it will retain its mild, malty taste that so many like…

At Kormoran Brewery, we use tunnel pasteurization. This means that unpasteurized beer goes to bottles, and then the closed bottles of “Święże” are sprayed with hot water, which not only stabilizes the beer, but sterilizes each bottle again. We are writing to you about the method of pasteurization not only to describe how it proceeds, but also to show that pasteurization in a tunnel is a very mild form of beer stabilization. Our beers are not in-flow pasteurized, where the beer is subjected to very high temperatures before it goes into the bottle. When we pasteurize in the tunnel, we only want to create conditions in which the beer will gain stability until the last day of the date while preserving the taste…

Witbier

is a beer with a pleasant, light, cereal aroma with clearly marked Witbier aromas

is a beer with a pleasant, light, cereal aroma with clearly marked aromas of herbs – especially coriander and orange peel. The aromas, despite their intensity, blend well. The beer is pale yellow, cloudy due to the use of unmalted wheat. Opalescent in the glass, it gives the impression of being actually white (its name bierre blanche means white beer). Witbier foam is white, creamy and long-lasting. The taste of the beer is grainy, pleasantly sour, with a distinct sweetness accentuated by citrus zest and coriander. You can immediately feel that this beer belongs to the family of wheat beers, although the herbal-citrus note adds a bit of exoticism. All this well-balanced makes up the taste of summer. Hop bitterness similar to hefeweizen should not affect the refreshing aromas of fruit and spices, nor should it linger. The beer is quite heavily carbonated, which, combined with its character, makes it a great refreshment. Despite the lightness, it is rich, but not sticky.

Podpiwek Warmiński

Podpiwek Warmiński is a perfect refreshing drink, it contains vitamins and minerals. It perfectly quenches thirst, replenishes micro and macro elements, and provides energy. Perfect after exercise, to improve mood and well-being. Our podpiwek is made in the same process as our beers. The only difference is that the fermentation is stopped so that the yeast does not produce more than 0.5% alcohol.

Podpiwek was a favorite drink on hot summer days. The best recommendation is a quote from Edward Cyfus’s book “My Warmia”: “I personally recommend looking for ready-made podpiwek produced by the Olsztyn brewery “Kormoran” in stores. It tastes the way my mother, mother or aunts made it.”

Radler Bitter Orange

An explosion of fruit refreshment with a hint of traditional beer from the Kormoran Brewery. This time we attached the fruit bomb fuse to an orange. Effect? Thundering!… but not mind-blowing. Radler refreshes with bubbles and tempts with its aroma…

Kormoran Radler Bitter Orange is an alcohol-free product in which a large amount of natural juice is combined with beer features! We do not add sugar or flavor enhancers to our radler. On the other hand, a bit of Himalayan salt increases its fullness and isotonic features. Only good and nature!… as befits a brewery from Warmia and Mazury!

GRUIT KOPERNIKOWSKI – hop-free lavender beer

Ingredients: water, barley malt, wheat malt, lavender, juniper, wormwood, yeast

unfiltered, pasteurized,

extract 12.5 blg, alc. 4.9%

The year 2023 in Warmia and Mazury is marked by Nicolaus Copernicus. This year marks the 550th anniversary of the Great Astronomer’s birth and the 470th anniversary of his death.

Kormoran Brewery joins the jubilee celebrations with a special beer inspired by the biography of Nicolaus Copernicus. This beer is “Gruit Kopernikowski”. “Gruit” is a beer in which a mixture of herbs and perennials is used instead of hops and they provide the beer with aroma and taste. And the name “Copernicus” is due to the fact that we were inspired by the events of 1538, when the Warmian canon Felix Reich, in return for collecting evidence of the alleged “romance” of Copernicus with Anna Schilling, accepted beer that “smelled very strongly of lavender”.

We at Browar Kormoran, starting from the historical message and confronting it with our beer craftsmanship and beer creativity, have created a beer in which barley and wheat malts are responsible for the body, and a mixture of herbs consisting of wormwood, juniper, and, above all, lavender inflorescences.

Thanks to this, the beer is very light and drinkable, and the amazing and unusual blend of herbs makes it as unique as it is a unique organoleptic experience….

Gruit Kopernikowski was brewed for the first time in 2013 and caused quite a stir on the market. It aroused equally great interest in the industry in 2023. We hope that by offering it every ten years, we will be able to tell a beautiful story in which a unique beer is combined with the figure of one of the most famous Varmians!
