Kaufland’s Platinum Debut!

Kaufland is one of the largest hypermarket chains in Europe, part of the Schwarz Group and present in eight countries. The company operates more than 1,500 stores employing around 155,000 people. In Poland, the first store was opened in 2001 – today the network already includes 253 outlets and employs over 15,500 people nationwide.

The company’s strategy is based on a high-quality product range, competitive prices, and modern shopping solutions. The chain focuses on offering a wide selection of products, both well-known brands and its own private labels, such as K-Classic, K-Bio and Bevola. A significant part of the assortment also comes from Polish producers – Kaufland cooperates with more than 400 domestic suppliers, promoting local products under the brand K-Stąd Takie Dobre! (That’s Why It Tastes So Good!). The company is also heavily investing in digitalisation. The Kaufland mobile app, already used by more than 5.1 million customers, offers numerous features, including access to the Kaufland Card loyalty programme.

Alongside its dynamic growth, Kaufland places strong emphasis on customer convenience, high-quality service, and social as well as environmental responsibility. The company is also engaged in both local and nationwide projects, supporting consumer education, ecological initiatives, and charitable activities.
